This Refund Policy applies to all paid plans (Premium and Enterprise) of PosteRazor, the open-source poster creation tool. PosteRazor is committed to transparency and fairness, ensuring our users receive value for their investment. Please read this policy carefully to understand your eligibility for refunds, the refund process, and exceptions.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are available only for paid PosteRazor plans (Premium and Enterprise) and are subject to the following conditions:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New users of Premium or Enterprise plans may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase, provided the plan has not been used for more than 10 projects or 50 poster creations. This guarantee is designed to let you test the plan’s features and ensure it meets your needs.
- Technical Issues: If PosteRazor’s paid features fail to function as described on our official website (https://posterazor.sourceforge.io/index.php?page=about&lang=english), and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 7 business days, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund (pro-rated based on usage).
- Accidental Purchases: Refunds for accidental purchases (e.g., duplicate orders, incorrect plan selection) are accepted if requested within 48 hours of purchase, with proof of the accidental transaction.
2. Non-Refundable Cases
The following scenarios are not eligible for refunds, regardless of the request timing:
- Free Plan: PosteRazor’s free plan is entirely open-source and free of charge, so no refunds apply.
- Usage Beyond Eligibility: Premium/Enterprise plans used for more than 10 projects or 50 poster creations within the 30-day guarantee period.
- User Error: Refunds will not be issued for issues caused by user error, including but not limited to incorrect image formatting, improper software installation, or failure to follow our documentation guidelines.
- Third-Party Integrations: Issues related to third-party tools (e.g., PDF viewers, printers) that affect PosteRazor’s output, but not the software itself.
- Cancellations After 30 Days: Requests for refunds made more than 30 calendar days after purchase.
- Open-Source Contributions: Donations or contributions to the PosteRazor open-source project are non-refundable.
3. Refund Process
To request a refund, follow these steps:
1. Send a refund request to past@postermer.com with the subject line “Refund Request - [Your Order Number/Email]”.
2. Include the following information in your request:
- Your full name and email address associated with the PosteRazor account
- Order number (if applicable)
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund (with details, e.g., technical issue, accidental purchase)
- Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email)
3. Our support team will review your request within 3 business days and notify you of approval or denial via email.
4. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days, and the funds will be returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary based on your bank or payment provider.
4. Cancellations & Pro-Rated Refunds
If you cancel your Premium or Enterprise plan after the 30-day guarantee period, no full refund is available. However, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your plan, provided:
- The cancellation is requested at least 14 days before the next billing cycle.
- There are no outstanding technical issues that would qualify for a full refund.
